3. What is included in our prices:
All our rates cover the named driver fully comprehensively, mileage allowance of 100 per day of hire and breakdown recovery service.
4. Period of Rental/Daily Rate Calculation
In most destinations, the minimum period of hire is 3 consecutive days, however shorter durations may be available, please consult our reservations staff. After collection of the car, company at the daily rate will charge extensions of the hire period. We will endeavor to make the extension to your rental at our pre-booked rates; however, we cannot always guarantee this. Please note that local charges and at local rates will be raised for the late return of vehicles.
5. Additional Drivers
Any additional drivers are charged at an additional fee of £20.00 Inc VAT per day.
6. Number of Passengers
Our vehicles are insured from the maximum number of passengers permitted per vehicle type. Please ensure that you choose a vehicle suitable to the size of your party.
7. Deposits
All clients must produce a valid Credit/Debit Card upon collection of the vehicle as means of paying for the deposit. The amount of the deposit will vary with type of vehicle and grouping. A Credit/Debit card can also be used for deposits against damages and any other charges.
8. Fuelling
Our vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel. Petrol deposits are collected in advance and generally refundable if the vehicle is returned with a full tank of fuel. If the vehicle is not returned with a full tank of fuel, you will be charged for the fuel required to fill the tank together with the service charge for re-fuelling. The fuel deposit amount is dependant on vehicle type and grouping.
9. Vehicle Standard
Every effort is made to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness before any vehicle is given to rent. Every vehicle is washed and vacuumed by our team of valeters before all are rented. You will incur a minimum charge of £30.00 if the vehicle is not clean upon its return.
10. Vehicle Type/Vehicle Suitability
E-Swift (UK) Ltd cannot guarantee that you will be provided with the exact make or model of vehicle shown on this website,
as we reserve the right to change the model without notice. A similar vehicle (or a free upgrade) may be provided. If for
any reason you are not happy with the condition of the vehicle, you can inform our hire manager immediately
both verbally and in writing. E-Swift (UK) Ltd cannot accept any liability where this procedure is not followed.
11. Fines/Penalties
Any parking/speeding/bus lane & congestion charge (s) fines etc are the sole liability of the hirer.
We will pass all information on our hirers onto the relevant authorities for them to collect fees.
Please note an administration fee will apply, a minimum of £25.00.
12. Provision of Vehicle
E-Swift (UK) Ltd retain the right to refuse to provide a vehicle to any customer who appears to
be unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. This terminates your contract
immediately and will have no further liability to you.
13. Cancelled Bookings
A minimum of 72 hours notice for a cancellation of a vehicle must be given if a reservation is going to be cancelled. If notice is not given within this time a cancellation fee of one day hire + VAT & service charge will be charged. E-Swift (UK) Ltd reserves the right to cancel any booking at our own discretion; all bookings are subject to status, availability and term & conditions.
14. Early Returns
There is no refund for customers who wish to bring the vehicle back early. This is done entirely under the customers will.
15. Refund
Any refunds made by E-Swift (UK) Ltd will be paid by cheque.
16. Lost Keys
If any key of the vehicles is lost whilst on hire, a replacement key will be provided, but the cost of replacing the lost key, plus service charge will be taken from the hirers deposit. The hirer must provide a police report with the reference number.
17. Drink/Drugs
E-Swift (UK) Ltd will not be held responsible for any individual under the influence of alcohol or drugs, causing willful damage, off road driving without due care and attention. The client will indemnify E-Swift (UK) Ltd against this in respect of all claims.
18. Delivery & Collection
Can be arranged at an additional charge, but is free within 10 mile radius. Call 0208 981 9828 for details.
19. Mechanical Difficulties/Accidents
In the event of damage to the vehicle, you must:- * Notify E-Swift (UK) Ltd immediately. * Not repair the vehicle yourself. * Retain all rental documentation in the event of an accident. You must also: - * obtain a signed police report. * Complete an accident form. * Obtain details of third parties. * Obtain a signed checkout form when the vehicle is returned Failure to follow all these requirements and forward all relevant information to E-Swift (UK) Ltd on your return will result in the non-payment of any compensation in the case of mechanical problems.
20. Malicious Damage
Our professional and experienced in-house accident specialist will investigate any suspected malicious damage to vehicle, either through avoidable road accidents caused by dangerous driving, or damage to vehicle parts caused via negligence.
21. Going Abroad
A green card/AA Europe assist will be supplied for customers to take the vehicle abroad. This charge will automatically be added to the rental cost. Under no circumstances should a vehicle be taken out of the UK without the written consent or authorization of E-Swift (UK) Ltd.
